1 Medium head of cabbage, cored and sliced
1 small bell pepper, chopped (optional)
1 medium onion, chopped
1 tablespoon vegetable oil
1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
1 reduced-sodium chicken or beef bouillon cube
1/3 cup water
1/4 teaspoon black pepper
Mix cabbage, bell pepper (optional) and onion in a bowl.
Heat oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add cabbage mixture and stir-fry for about 1 minute.
Immediately add garlic powder, bouillon cube and water. Cover pan.
When water comes to a boil, turn down the heat and simmer for 15 minutes. Add black pepper.
Tastes best when served immediately.
