When are your farmers markets?
Grow Oak Ridge operates the Winter Farmers Market, indoors at Roane State Community College. Open Saturdays 9 a.m. to 12 p.m., December to March (closed holidays).

Where is your community garden?
We manage the Grow & Learn Community Garden, 1051 Oak Ridge Turnpike, Oak Ridge, TN. It is a teaching and learning space, with 30 beds available for rent in the summer, educational classes and support all summer. To apply for one of our garden programs or a spot in the garden, click here.

When is the Lavender Festival?
The Jackson Square Lavender Festival is an annual fundraiser for Grow Oak Ridge and its food security programs. It is always held on the 3rd Saturday of June. For more information about this year’s event, please click here.

Can I use SNAP/EBT at your farmers markets.
Yes, you may use SNAP/EBT and Double Up Food Bucks (up to $20/day for extra produce) at the following farmers markets locally:
* Winter Farmers Market, Oak Ridge indoors at Roane State Community College.
* Market-To-Go, online farmers market.
*Oak Ridge Farmers Market, year-round in Jackson Square.

What is the Grow Your Own program?
Grow Your Own offers free seeds, seedlings, hand tools, organic fertilizers and education for growing your own food. Applications are open Dec. 1 for Anderson County residents. Read More.
